Located in Harumi, Chuo Ward, Tokyo, which hosted the athlete village for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and Paralympics, is a very convenient area close to major Tokyo tourist spots such as Ginza, Tsukiji, and Odaiba. And in late April 2024, a new hotel, “PREMIER HOTEL -CABIN PRESIDENT-Tokyo,” was built there.
Although it’s a brand-new hotel, I heard that their lunch buffet is great value, so I decided to check it out right away.
A place where you can feel nature even in the city
Harumi, where PREMIER HOTEL -CABIN PRESIDENT-Tokyo is located, is in a redevelopment area along Tokyo Bay, surrounded by new buildings, sea, and greenery. When I visited during the fresh green season, the greenery was sparkling under the sunlight.
As for the hotel, I was immediately drawn to the space outside on the first floor. There were parasol and chairs set up outside, creating a very elegant atmosphere. It is a bakery café where you can enjoy high-quality bread and coffee. When I visited, there were couples enjoying bread and coffee with their beloved dogs in the outdoor café space, creating a lovely ambiance.
Passing through the entrance on the first floor, there’s a spiral staircase leading up to the second floor where you can enjoy the lunch buffet at the “Bayside Kitchen” restaurant.
Lunch Buffet at Bayside Kitchen
Bayside Kitchen boasts large windows that flood the interior with light, creating a very bright atmosphere. And the view of the street trees is very soothing.
You can enjoy the lunch buffet every day from 11:30 to 14:30. It’s priced at ¥3,080 for adults, with the same rate for weekdays and weekends. The menu includes salads, meats, fish, desserts, and more. A highlight is the “Today’s Pasta” served separately from the buffet. It’s brought to you by the waiter and was incredibly delicious, showcasing seasonal ingredients.
There were various types of salads, and the marinated ones were particularly delicious. Among the meat dishes, mini cheeseburgers and pork cutlet sandwiches were especially eye-catching. The clam chowder and minestrone soup were also hearty and satisfying.
There’s a wide variety of bread available, and you can even make pancakes on-site using a machine. When topped with whipped cream and hazelnut chocolate sauce, they were absolutely divine.
Considering the price, ambiance, variety of dishes, and taste, I felt completely satisfied. I think this restaurant is suitable for various occasions like a girls’ gathering, meals with friends, or even dining alone.
Especially right after opening, it might be challenging to secure a reservation on weekends, but weekdays should be relatively easier.
Located in Harumi, Chuo Ward, Tokyo, PREMIER HOTEL -CABIN PRESIDENT-Tokyo’s lunch buffet comes highly recommended.
